As seen in the video, a wedding is one of the most joyous occasions in Chassidic culture. There are many processes that the bride and groom must go through before they can reach the point of actually becoming married. Although these procedures differ greatly from how the secular world gets married, each custom reminds us of our forefathers and is symbolic to the future the bride and groom will share together. By bringing in the past and the present, the bride and groom are able to mark their place in the community and thus doing so, they become complete beings once again.
